What's a concept puzzle?
A concept puzzle starts with a beloved child’s drawing. The Atelier brings it to life, carefully interpreting it and turning it into a puzzle designed to be experienced together. Each piece is then produced and presented in a metallic tin, made to last.
How does the Atelier makes sure the drawing interpretation is right?
Children often draw in their own unique way. At checkout, we ask for a few details about the drawing to understand what each element represents. We encourage you to ask your child to describe their drawing and share it with us.
The essence of the drawing is always preserved. However, we reserve the right to reinterpret certain elements to align with our values. Content involving violence, weapons, or inappropriate themes will not be reproduced as such.
Can I include cultural details?
Yes, and we encourage it. Sharing context (stories, meanings, cultural elements) helps us create a piece that feels more accurate and meaningful.
Can I preview the puzzle before production?
Not by default. Each piece is carefully carried from start to finish. If you would like to review it before production, you may add a preview option at checkout. This includes a preview and minor adjustments.
When will I receive my order?
Creation: up to 1 week (more if you take the option to preview the drawing before production). Delivery: 1 to 3 weeks depending on location.
How many pieces will the puzzle have?
The number of pieces is adapted to the child’s age:
3 years: 30 pieces
4-5 years: 110 pieces
5-7 years: 252 pieces
8-12 years: 500 pieces
This is a recommendation. If you’d like to adjust the number of pieces, please select the corresponding option during checkout. Kindly note that the price does not depend on the puzzle size. The price reflects the creation and interpretation of the drawing, not the number of pieces.
What kind of drawing should I upload?
Any drawing works. Simple or detailed: nothing needs to be perfect. During checkout, you can upload a photo using your phone. For best results:
Place the drawing on a flat surface
Take the photo from above
Use natural light
Avoid shadows
Make sure only the drawing is visible
Max file size: 10MB
How is the puzzle packaged?
Each piece is presented in a metallic tin, designed to be kept over time.

Can I return my order?
Each piece is made to order and cannot be returned. If something feels wrong, please reach out, we will always do our best to help.
Is it suitable for all ages?
The puzzle is not suitable for children under 3. This is a not a toy. It is a creative object designed to be experienced together with an adult. Adult supervision is recommended.
